Peter Herold
I grew up in a small village in former East Germany. I trained in Leipzig and qualified in 1996, shortly later I left to work abroad. At that time, I didn't really mind where I would finish up but today I am so glad it was Northern Ireland!
Through all my life my profession never disappointed me: I love my work, it is for me so full filling, meaning full and rewarding and I would not change it for any other work in the world. My interests are mainly surgery and diagnostic imaging, but I am always on the hunt for new things to learn.
In 2011 I started to work for myself and founded Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic; since then, we have been growing a lot and I see myself in the middle of a knowledgeable and dedicated team of vets and nurses which carry my own spirit into a much bigger picture. For me a dream came true.
In my free time I spend time with my wonderful family, stick my hands into garden soil (talk to me about growing tomatoes!) and play the guitar.
